Dearest Fox Fans,
To all of you who have outstanding orders that are now far past late, I extend my most humble apologies. I am working as fast as possible, but my absurdly remote location in conjunction with silly weather sometimes prevents things I need in order to get your lovely work to you from getting here. I am also, and have been, severely backlogged since October. As I near the end of the enormous stack of order (for every one of which I am extremely grateful!) I feel the need to, once again, extend my apologies and pleas for patience.
To those of you who are considering placing an order at Potted Fox: I advise extreme patience at least until May; while the backlog shrinks, it still exists and while you'd think a month or two would be plenty of time, and ordinarily you'd be right, this winter has been beyond hectic and I'm still beating the dregs back with my trusty spork.
Thank you all again for your loyalty and patience. I have every expectation that this year will be much more organized and efficient. This is largely due to the hiring of amazing new minions who also, conveniently, know how to sew.
Best regards,
The most stressed Fox |

Greetings, Foxians!
Exciting news: Potted Fox is getting a face lift. We started with rearranging our mail servers and next the site itself will be revamped. While the site shouldn't be affected, please forgive any missing or dysfunctional sections of the site. If you have any problems, questions, or even suggestions please don't hesitate to drop a line. |

| Curious Mail Glitch |
10:06 Jun 04th 2009 |
| |
This morning, I opened my computer to discover some 3,592 bits of junk mail floating around inside my inbox. After wading through and deleting them, scratching my head about how they got there, I discovered all the mail between this morning and 28 February is simply gone. If you wrote to me some time in the last, say, two weeks, and I have not responded, that is why and please resend whatever it was! I am hopeful that they return, though I am not holding my breath.
Oh, computers. You were supposed to make our lives easier. |

| Security Certificate |

Fun New Problem:
Apparently the Potted Fox Security Certificate, which is self-signing due to I am my own host, has taken to upsetting recently-updated browsers. So far I've only had reports of problems with Firefox and Internet Explorer. If you're trying to place an order and it isn't working, please send me your order in email form. |

| Gremlin Trouble |
11:11 Nov 07th 2008 |
| |
Dearly beloved,
We are gathered here today to confess that I utterly cannot find the receipt book in which we have written down custom orders and repairs (and therefore the addresses to which they should be sent). I have turned the trailer, my personal luggage, the office, and (much to the delight of the rest of the household, as it meant a fair amount of cleaning) the house inside out several times to no avail. I can only conclude that some pesky set of gremlins has invaded and made it invisible. I'm reasonably sure it's sitting on my desk in plain sight and I've picked it up and even flipped through it several times. In the meantime, if you’re expecting something from me or dropped something off and were wonder how it’s doing, please let me know. I have no idea who’s out there and where these poor lonely pieces belong. In the meantime, I’m calling an exterminator to come deal with the gremlins. Hopefully posting this will cause them to feel I’ve been embarrassed sufficiently and the book will reappear.
Sheepish,
Kat |

First, I'd like to thank everyone who came out to the opening weekend of CTRF. While the weather was somewhat less than pleasant, it was a delight to see everyone who made it out! Hopefully we boothbound few will be seeing many of you again during the run.
Second, due to the increasing amount of spam, I've suspended the usual contact form. This doesn't mean I don't want to hear from you! It just means we're in the middle of inventing some way for you to get ahold of me without putting my address out there for the enjoyment of spambots. Thanks for your patience.
Enjoy the season, folks. |

| Tent Sale! |
14:06 Jun 12th 2008 |
| |
At SKRF halfway between first and second weekends, Potted Fox's booth tore apart. The Fox has done what she can to move toward repairing the damage to stagger through this show, but considering the weather later in the summer and fall, doesn't think the patch is going to hold up well enough to make it through to next season. In order to fund a new tent, we're shaking up a sale. Everything that is currently in stock is 10% off. (A current stock list to follow shortly.) Further, there will be a 10% discount on all bodices and jerkins ordered between now and the end of July. Straight up donations to the Tent Fund are also gravely appreciated.
Stay tuned for news.
Love,
Potted Fox Studios and their Sad Pavillion |

| Two Announcements! |
10:05 May 29th 2008 |
| |
Under Old Management!
Matt, the original Potted Fox, is stepping down in May. Katya (Potted Fox's head apprentice for the past 5 years, and Booth Manager extraordinare) is taking over her teacher's position as Owner and Head Peon for Potted Fox. I'm glad to be retiring and couldn't hope for a better successor than Kat.
She looks better in a corset than I do, that's for sure.
Also... Photo Contest!
To kick off her starting season, Kat has announced a photo contest!
Potted Fox wants you to show off your PFox stuff! Send your photos to us, and the top three winners will be picked by photographer extraordinare Jason Zaleski. Prizes will be awarded and more details will be available soon. |

| Server Crash! |
08:11 Nov 07th 2007 |
| |
Hi folks,
Bit of a problem here. Just before Halloween, we had a server crash. Well, I was able to get back mostly everything. Save for the orders that were placed in September and October. See, we have the receipts set so that they can't be read unless you're a specific user. This is for security reasons.
Our backup program doesn't have access to the receipts, so when I restored the site from the crash, I didn't have any of the orders.
SO! If you've placed an order in the last while and still haven't received it, EMAIL me. I've got some of them printed out and am working on those. But I know for a fact that one or two of them are gone, and I don't have contact info for you guys anymore.
Apologies folks,
--Matt |
